ACADEMICS

Academics

HCA offers grades K4-12 to give our students a college-preparatory Christian education. We desire to use the tool of education to teach and to train young people to love and to serve Jesus Christ. The school uses a traditional, time-tested, rigorous Christian curriculum. We provide a superior academic climate and promote academic excellence to best prepare students to fulfill God’s will for their lives.

Beyond academics, the school sponsors fine arts competitions, musicals, and seasonal programs teaching our students to exalt Christ with their God-given talents, abilities, and skills. Our physical education and athletic programs are continually expanding to meet the needs of our students.

Biblical Integration

Biblical integration is the primary focus of our curriculum, presenting students with a God-centered worldview based upon God’s Word, the Bible, as the standard for all truth. Central to the spiritual development of students is that they be afforded opportunities to explore and discuss the nature of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, to find meaningful answers for the Christian faith, and to practically apply Biblical truth to every aspect of their daily lives. In addition, students are guided in the areas of skill and character development, as well as moral judgment, to increase their potential for personal success in education and business arenas worldwide.

All students at Heritage Christian Academy attend chapels weekly. Chapels have the potential for powerfully impacting students’ lives, not only within the context of the chapel experience itself, but also within the context of the classroom and other activities throughout the week.

Biblical Worldview

One of the most crucial characteristics of Heritage Christian Academy is the our desire to develop within our students a Biblical worldview. Our desire to develop a Biblical worldview is not limited only to our students, but it also extends to the faculty and parents as well.

Heritage Christian Academy is a member of the Keystone Christian Education Association (KCEA). This membership provides HCA and the students of HCA with opportunities in academics, fine arts, and athletics.
